Abstract
Cross-section and vector-analyzing-power measurements have been performed for the reaction leading to the ground and first three excited states of A 14 MeV vector-polarized beam was employed for the measurements. Distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations agree reasonably well with the data. The results suggest a 2p-2h admixture of a configuration having an intensity of 4% and a configuration with an intensity of 3% in the ground state of
