Abstract

The formalism for calculating finite-range coupled-channels Born approximation differential cross sections is developed using the plane wave expansion method. A discussion of the computer code OUKID which was developed using this formalism is presented. A test of the reliability of this code is also presented and the effect of multistep processes on an α transfer reaction is shown.
