Abstract
The decay schemes of and have been studied in order to extend the detailed level properties of odd-mass Xe. For , decay levels in are identified at ( values in parentheses) ground state (), , , , , , , , , , and 946.03 keV (); for , decay levels in are identified at ground state (), , , , , , , , , , , , , and 1589.92 keV (). Gas chromatography techniques were used to determine a branching ratio of (2.88 ± 0.02)% of all decays populating the isomer. These levels and their properties are compared with other odd-mass Xe nuclei and their level properties.
