Abstract

The levels of Zn64 have been investigated via the Ni61(α,nγ)Zn64 reaction up to 3.4 MeV excitation. The level scheme which has been obtained includes most of the previously reported levels. The lifetimes of 18 levels in Zn64 have been measured by the Doppler shift attenuation method at bombardment energies between 6.4 and 8.0 MeV.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ni61(α,nγ), Eα=6.48.0 MeV, enriched targets, measured Eγ, Iγ, ΔEγ(τ) confirmed Zn64 levels, deduced τ.
