Abstract
The reaction has been used to study the decays of the (3.63 MeV, ) and (5.33 MeV, ) states to the ground state. The branching ratios were measured to be, respectively, (3.0±0.6) × and ≤ 2.3 × . When these values are combined with the available lifetimes of these states, matrix elements [(3.63 MeV)] and ≤ 4.5 [(5.33 MeV)] are obtained. The properties of these states are compared to the theoretical predictions.
