Abstract

Distorted wave impulse approximation calculations of C12(e, ep) cross sections show no sensitivity to short range correlations in the range of recoil momenta covered by the data. For this result, which is in contrast to previous calculations, it is crucial to use correlated wave functions of correct rms radii on which the quality of the fit depends critically.
