Abstract
The reduction of the dynamical equations of the Lane-Robson reaction formalism, reported previously, is extended to the important case in which the nuclear Hamiltonian contains absorptive and linearly energy dependent terms. The method is illustrated by an -matrix analysis of two potential models fitted to + elastic scattering data in the energy region . The -matrix method provides an economical representation of the model solutions and yields further insight into the nature of the resonance structure predicted by these models.
