Abstract

Precision measurements of the half-lives of the decay of some T=12 mirror nuclei have been determined. The results are C11 (1222.9 ± 1.2 sec), Ne19 (17.219 ± 0.017 sec), Na21 (22.47 ± 0.03 sec), Mg23 (11.327 ± 0.014 sec), Al25 (7.174 ± 0.007 sec), Si27 (4.109 ± 0.004 sec), and P29 (4.083 ± 0.012 sec). In addition, the half-life of Alm26 which proceeds by a pure Fermi decay, has been determined to be 6.346 ± 0.005 sec.
