Polarization transfer in He3(d,d)He3 elastic scattering

Abstract

Measurements of four vector-to-tensor and six tensor-to-tensor polarization-transfer coefficients for the elastic scattering of polarized deuterons by He3 are reported. Data were obtained at the laboratory angle 30° for energies in the range 5-9 MeV.

[NUCLEAR REACTIONS He3(d,d)He3, Ed=59 MeV, θc.m.=49.6, measured 10 polarization-transfer coefficients.]
