Abstract
Excitation functions have been measured for inelastic proton scattering from the 1.78 MeV, first excited state of between 3.1 and 5.7 MeV. Two previously unidentified resonances corresponding to states in with excitation energies of 6.577 and 7.272 MeV have been observed. Triple angular correlations in the Goldfarb-Seyler geometry have been measured as a function of energy over all the resonances observed in the inelastic excitation function. Information obtained from the angular correlation data has been combined with previous information concerning these states to allow assignments for 9 of the 11 states observed.
