Abstract

The reaction theory of Fano is applied to the analysis of the N15(p,γ0)O16 data vis à vis the N14(d,γ0)O16 data. The result is consistent with the Gillet model which attributes the structure near 22.9 MeV in O16 to a 2p-2h quasibound state.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE O16; extracted resonance energy of quasibound state from N15(p,γ)O16 data. Compared to Gillet's model.
