Spins of the 3.854-MeV and 7.026-MeV levels in F17 from O16(p,p)O16

Abstract

The spin and parity of the 7.026-MeV level in F17 has been determined to be 52 on the basis of excitation-function measurements of O16(p,p)O16. The 52 assignment to the 3.854-MeV level was also confirmed.

[NUCLEAR REACTIONS O16(p,p), E=3.470,6.833 MeV measured σ(θ), P(θ). Natural solid target.]
