Abstract

In the reactions Be9(t,Li6)He6 and Be9(t,Li*6(3.56))He6 significant deviations of the cross sections from symmetry around 90° are seen in the isospin multiplet channel. One may interpret this deviation as arising from the difference between He6 and Li*6 radial wave functions and not from a higher mixture of isospin states. This interpretation is supported by a recent muon-capture analysis.
