Abstract
We report measurements of the 4 analyzing tensors and of up to 14 polarization-transfer coefficients, at each energy and angle studied, for elastic scattering. This number of observables greatly overdetermines the scattering matrix, and many consistency checks are therefore available. These data represent the first measurements of polarization-transfer phenomena in which both the incident and outgoing polarized particles have spin 1. Bombarding energies were in the range 4.8 to 9.0 MeV.
