Abstract

It is known that suitable Eckart parametrizations of the nucleon-trinucleo n overlap functions are able to reproduce the charge form factor of ⁴He. The extracted relative normalization constants of the asymptotic nucleon functions are C_n ≈ 4.1 and C_p ≈ 4.0.

New results for reaction rate of the proton radiative capture on 3H

Calculations of the reaction rate of the proton radiative capture on ³H at temperatures from 0.01 $T_{9}$ up to 5 $T_{9}$ , which are based on the theoretical results for the astrophysical S-factor and take into account the latest experimental data, were carried out. Theoretical results for the S-factor at energies from 1 keV up to 5 MeV were obtained in the framework of the modified potential cluster model with the classification of orbital states according to Young tableaux. On the basis of used nuclear model of the interaction of p and ³H particles there was shown possibility of description the latest experimental data for the S-factor at the energy range from 50 keV up to 5 MeV.
On the K− He4→Λπ− He3 resonant and non-resonant processes

The ongoing data analyses by the AMADEUS/KLOE-2 Collaboration on the 2004–2005 KLOE data revive studies of the $\overline{K}$ nuclear absorption at low energies. The aim is to study $\overline{K}$ interactions at subthreshold energies and to search for signals of $\overline{K}$ meson nuclear states. In this paper the spectrum of the $K^{-} {}^{4}{He} \to Λ π^{-} {}^{3}{He}$ reaction is discussed. One – calculable – mode of decay involves P-wave intermediate $Σ (1385)$ resonance. Another mode involves S-wave $K N \to Λ π$ amplitude which may be extracted from the experimental results. Comparison of these two allows a check of subthreshold extrapolations of multichannel $\overline{K} N$ S-wave interaction models. Given the established significance of the P wave interaction in the $\overline{K} N$ system presented here, the obtained spectra will serve for the AMADEUS/KLOE-2 data analysis, in order to properly extract the subthreshold non-resonant transition amplitude.
Production of 3H at large momentum in α-12C collisions at 2A GeV

Calculations of the longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions for ³H production at large momentum in α−¹²C colli sions near 2 A GeV are compared to experiment. Triton exchange and final-state interactions are shown to represent large corrections to the impulse approximation for proton knockout. A method for calculating interference effects for inelastic fragmentation is discussed. Good agreement with experiment is found using a phenomenological overlap function for ³H-p successful in describing ³H production in pion-induced reactions. Comparisons to momentum distributions obtained through (p, 2p) and (e, ep) reactions on ⁴He are made.
Quasi-free stripping reactions - extended serber model (II)

We examine the validity of the model wave functions used in the extended Serber model for ⁴He, ⁷Li, ¹²C, and ²⁰Ne projectiles. It is shown that with a properly chosen truncation radius, truncated Yukawa wave functions reproduce the cluster momentum distributions obtained with microscopic wave functions. Thus, the basic concept, i.e., the quasi-free stripping mechanism involved in the original Serber model has been extended to complex projectiles. Applications of the extended Serber model to formation of beam-velocity fragments are presented, including ²²Ne induced reactions at 20 MeV/nucleon and the bombarding energy dependence of the momentum width in ²⁰Ne- and ¹⁴N-induced reactions. The complexity of the peripheral nucleus-nucleus collisions in the Fermi energy domain is discussed.
