Abstract

Cluster parent states are defined in terms of excited oscillator states of high excitation. The expansion in terms of these states is highly selective and keeps the lowest supermultiplets. The matrix elements of the nuclear Hamiltonian are reduced to two-body matrix elements and generalized transformation brackets. Calculations for 6Li levels are reported.
