Abstract

Angular distributions of He6 particles from the three-neutron pickup reaction C13(He3, He6)C10 have been measured for transitions to the two lowest states of C10, the Jπ=0+ ground state and 3.35-MeV Jπ=2+ state. Observed anomalies in the shapes and magnitudes of these distributions cannot be explained theoretically by zero-range distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations.
