Abstract

Using a distorted-wave Born-approximation treatment which exactly includes recoil for the data from the reaction C12(N14,C13)N13 at E(N14)=78 MeV, we demonstrate the necessity for including recoil effects in calculations for single-nucleon-transfer reactions with heavy ions.
