Single-Charge Exchange (π+,π0) in Light Nuclei

Abstract

The total and differential cross sections were calculated for C13(π+,π0)N13, considering the effects of double and triple scatterings as well as pion absorption. An attempt is also made to explain the extremely small total cross section for N14(π+,π0)O14 compared with other cases B10, B11, C13, and O18.
