Abstract

Excitation functions for the O16(Li6, t) reaction at 7.5° have been measured in 100-keV steps from 22.0 to 24.6-MeV incident energy. Data for the 0.0-, 0.24+0.27-, 1.51+1.54+1.62-, and 2.79-MeV states exhibit no prominent structure over the energy range studied and are suggestive of a predominantly direct reaction mechanism.
