New Proton-Rich Nuclei in the 1f72 Shell

Abstract

We have measured the masses of Ti43 and of the previously unknown nuclei Cr47, Fe51, and Ni55. These proton-rich members of 1f72-shell mirror pairs are important for extensions of nuclear mass relationships to the Z>N region.
