The reaction 15N(d,p)16N(unbound) and the off-energy-shell n-15N total cross section

Abstract

The recently observed near parallelism between the proton spectra from the reaction 15N(d,p)16N(unbound) and the n-15N total cross section is studied. The remaining discrepancies are explained qualitatively in terms of off-energy-shell and distorted-wave effects.
