Abstract

At a bombarding energy of 24 MeV, angular distributions have been measured for the reactions O16 (Li6, He3) F19 and O16(Li6,t)Ne19. A distorted-wave Born-approximation (DWBA) analysis in the zero-range three-nucleon-cluster-transfer approximation has been performed. The sensitivity of the DWBA calculations on Li6 parameters was demonstrated, with 160-190-MeV real-well-depth Li6 parameters giving the best fits. By using Watson's Li6 parameters, it was possible to account for the observed differences between the (Li6, He3) and (Li6,t) cross sections. The extracted relative spectroscopic strengths are consistent with the known structure of the final states.
