Abstract
The decay of was studied with samples produced by irradiating with 52-MeV ions. Mass separation of the irradiated samples provided isotopically pure samples for half-life and -ray spectra measurements. Three rays (44-, 118-, and 162-keV in energy) as well as the Tm x rays were observed and the half-life of was determined to be 18.87 ± 0.19 min. The latter two rays were found only in coincidence with Tm x rays but not with each other. From the growth and decay of the 102-keV ray of in these same samples, the abundances of the three rays and the Tm x ray were determined.
