Abstract

This study of the odd nucleus 172Tm, obtained from the β-decay of 172Er, has been performed by means of two iron-free double-focussing spectrometers, Ge(Li) detectors and coincidence techniques. The proposed level scheme is consistent with the previous one, and until now can be interpreted only in terms of configuration mixing considerations.
