Abstract
The and reactions have been investigated at an incident deuteron energy of 22.4 MeV. The angular distributions have been compared with distorted-wave calculations, and the spectroscopic strength has been extracted. The transitions to the levels of at 1.435 and 2.82 MeV were observed with a total strength . The spectroscopic factor of the ground-state transition for the reaction was found to be . This suggests the probability of measurable core-excitation admixtures in the ground-state configuration of .
