Abstract

The reaction C12(N14, Li6)Ne20 was studied at 60 MeV and forward-angle reaction data to states of Ne20 were obtained. Different rotational bands were populated with different strengths consistent with cluster transfer processes. The previously questioned structure of the K=0+ bands starting near 7 MeV is discussed and a new classification for the band is proposed.
