Non-Normal-Parity States in F19

Abstract

Using the non-central particle-hole interaction determined from a fit of the energy spectra of the non-normal-parity states in O15, O16, and O17, we have reproduced the energy spectrum of the non-normal-parity states in F19 satisfactorily via a shell-model calculation. The important contribution from T=1 states of Ne20 coupled to a 1p12 hole in the F19 wave functions is pointed out.
