Abstract

The ground-state mass of Be12 was measured using the reaction Li7(Li7, 2p) Be12 in a kinematically complete experiment. The mass excess was determined to be 24.95 ± 0.10 MeV. An excited state of Be12 is identified at an excitation energy of 0.81 ± 0.10 MeV.
