Abstract

Comparison of the results of the O18(He3,p), F19(d,p) and Ne22(d,α) reactions leads to an assignment of Jπ=1+ for the state at Ex=3.489 MeV in F20. These results, together with previous information, lead to the identification of the 3.531-MeV state as the only 0+ state predicted below 6 MeV. Recent information for the low-lying levels of F20 is reviewed and compared with predictions of recent shell-model calculations.
