Abstract

We analyze the approximations introduced in Kisslinger's model and suggest that some of these approximations may be removed without losing the simplicity of the model. We thus obtain good fits for forward scattering at energies close to and above the 3-3 resonance. However, the fits become quite poor at low energies.
