Coulomb-Excitation Measurements on the Isotopes Nd144, Nd146, and Nd148

Abstract

The value of the reduced transition probability B(E2,0+2+) and the static quadrupole moments of the first 2+ states of Nd144,146,148 were determined. The results are discussed in terms of the variable-moment-of-inertia model.
