Shell-model aspects in coupled channel calculations using Feshbach projection technique

Abstract

The nucleon-nucleus scattering is described in the continuum shell-model theory treating the continuum-continuum coupling by projecting out the bound states and the single-particle resonances from the configuration space. The method is demonstrated by the analysis of the 15N(n, n′) reaction.
