Abstract

A direct-capture model is used to calculate the cross section for the capture of He3 by tritons. Comparisons with data to 20 MeV show that the energy dependence of the ground-state capture cross section is well accounted for and that there exists substantial t+He3 clustering in the first three Li6 states.
