Abstract

The excitation functions for the 12C(3He, 3He')12C (15.11 MeV), 12C(3He, t)12Ng.s. and 10B(3He, n)12Ng.s. reactions have been measured up to 30.6 MeV 3He energy. The excitation functions show broad resonance structures which indicate the possibility of a compound nucleus mechanism at higher excitation energies. In the 12C(3He, 3He')12C (15.1 MeV) reaction, a strong peak is seen at an incident 3He energy of 21.5 MeV.
