Quadrupole Moments of B10 and B11

Abstract

A calculation of the electric field gradient in the P2 ground state of atomic boron implies that the quadrupole moments of the stable boron isotopes, in barns, are Q(B10)=0.08472±0.00056, Q(B11)=0.04065±0.00026.
