Abstract

The angular distribution of the reaction 4He(p, d)3He at 49.5 MeV has been measured over the c.m. angular range of 11°–165°. This angular distribution, together with the angular distributions of the reactions 4He(p, t)2p, 4He(p, 3He)pn, 3He(p, d)2p at 49.5 MeV and 3He(p, d)2p at 30.5 MeV reported previously, have been analysed in terms of the plane wave Born approximation, DWBA and diffraction theories.
