Abstract

The energies and absorption strengths have been calculated for the dipole states of mass-15 nuclei within the space of 1h and 2p-1h states. The calculations have been made for both a zero-range residual force with Soper mixture, as well as for a Gaussian force with spin and isospin exchange — the Gillet force. Comparisons of the results are made with experiments on the 15N(γ, p0)14C and 14N(p,γ0)15O reactions.
