Abstract

The total cross sections for the reactions Be9(O16, O17[0.871])Be8 and C13(O16, O17[0.871]C12 have been measured at energies well below the Coulomb barrier. The data have been fitted with the Buttle and Goldfarb formulation of distorted-wave Born-approximation theory and spectroscopic factors extracted.
