Abstract

Gamma rays following β-decay of 62Co have been studied using a 25 cm3 Ge(Li) detector; Ge-NaI coincidence measurements have also been performed. The previously reported spin 3 state is not populated by this decay. The 1.47 MeV gamma ray reported in previous work is not observed; additional gamma rays at 1163 keV and 2103 keV are discovered. A new decay scheme is proposed.
