Differential cross sections for the isospin-forbidden reaction ${}_{}{}^{16}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}(d,{\alpha }_1){}_{}{}^{14}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{N}_{}^{*}{}_{}{}^{}$ are reported for $3<\mathrm{}{E}_d<15\mathrm{}$ MeV for various angles. For $5<\mathrm{}{E}_d<9\mathrm{}$ MeV, data points are 10-20 keV apart and at six angles. Many resonances are observed. Detailed angular distributions have been taken at some of the resonances and the data interpreted in terms of ${}_{}{}^{18}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{F}$ states with large isospin mixing. For some of these states, $J^{\pi }$ assignments are obtained. No evidence appears for any appreciable direct-reaction yield.
