Abstract

The decay of the odd-mass isotopes of polonium to levels in Bi203, Bi205, and Bi207 have been studied. Isotopically separated sources have been produced in the Princeton-Pennsylvania accelerator and mass-dispersed by means of the Princeton electromagnetic isotope separator. γ-ray and conversion-electron spectra have been observed. With the aid of γγ coincidences, level schemes have been constructed for these three bismuth isotopes.
