Abstract

Tritons have been elastically scattered from a number of light nuclei, and the data have been analyzed in terms of the optical model. Geometries have been found which are applicable to Be9, B10,11, and C12, and to F19 and Ne20. The real central well depths are approximately 140 MeV, and the spin-orbit well depth is greater than that expected from theoretical considerations. Ambiguities in the parameters are discussed.
