Abstract

The 3.39-MeV state of B12 is 20 keV above the threshold for neutron decay, and has been seen both in B11(d, p)B12 and in B11(n, n)B11. We present an analysis of B11(d, p)B12 by a new technique and combine the stripping and elastic scattering data to obtain the spin and parity of the state in question.
