Elastic and inelastic scattering of 3He particles from 10B at 32 MeV

Abstract

The differential cross sections for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 32.46 MeV 3He particles from 10B have been measured. The elastic differential cross section has been analysed in terms of the optical model. The angular distributions for inelastic scattering to the 0.717, 1.74, 2.15, 3.585, 4.77 and 6.03 MeV levels of 10B were compared with the predictions of the collective model using DWBA analysis.
