Abstract
From the static Hartree-Fock solutions for and , the intrinsic wave functions of the excited bands are obtained in the Tamm-Dancoff approximation (TDA). For both the ground and excited states, axially symmetric deformation has been assumed. A phenomenological interaction with Yukawa radial dependence and exchange mixture of the Rosenfeld type is used in the calculation. The good angular-momentum states are then projected out from the TDA wave functions. The agreement between the calculated and the experimental spectra of is only reasonably good. Contrary to expectation, the projected spectrum in one case deviates significantly from the law.
