Reactions induced by the bombardment of ${\mathrm{Be}}^9$ by 46-MeV protons have been studied. Angular distributions have been measured for ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,p)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^9$ (elastic scattering), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9(p,p^{\prime }){\mathrm{Be}}^{9*}$ (2.43-MeV state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,d)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^8$ (ground state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,d)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^{8*}$ (2.90-MeV state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,d)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^{8*}$ (16.93-MeV state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,d)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^{8*}$ (17.64-MeV state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,d)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^{8*}$ (18.15-MeV state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,d)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^{8*}$ (19.05-MeV state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,t)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^7$ (ground state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,t)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^{7*}$ (4.55-MeV state), ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,t)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^7$ (6.51-MeV state), and ${\mathrm{Be}}^9\mathrm{}(p,t)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^{7*}$ (10.79-MeV state).
