The 9Be(n, α0)6He reaction induced by 14.4 MeV neutrons

Abstract

The differential cross section of the 9Be(n, α0)6He reaction has been measured with a counter telescope discriminating 4He and 6He particles. The angular distribution is compared with heavy particle stripping theory. The total cross section is σ = 11.7 ± 1.8 mb.
