Electroexcitation of Giant-Resonance, Surface-Phonon States in C12

Abstract

The generalized Goldhaber-Teller model is used for a calculation of electroexcitation of giant resonance states with a superimposed surface-vibration phonon. A behavior similar to that of the giant resonances is found as a function of momentum transfer.
