The T = 2 isobaric multiplet at mass 24

Abstract

The reaction 26Mg(p, 3He)24Na has been investigated at Ep = 50 MeV. Isobaric analogue states with T = 2 have been identified and angular distributions identify the L = 0 character of the interactions. The mass 24, T = 2 quintet is considered in the context of the charge idependence of nuclear forces.
